Yet again, another new #1 player this month and several new and re-entries into the Top 20.

The post heading says it all really - full results from pretty much all of the 8 periods at this year's BHGS Challenge are now posted on the BHGS website. 

Congratulations to all of our winners, and many thanks to Hexwar and Nigel Emsen for donating the very generous prizes as well. 

It's official - the new "hotness" that is Guildball is officially now on sale for a 2-day Guildball extravaganza at Britcon 2015 !

This makes Britcon one of only 4 UK events currently sanctioned as 'Seasonal Qualifer' Events - with the top 2 at each event qualifying.... we're not quite sure what for yet, but we are sure that it will be cool !

In light of the popularity of 1-day Bolt Action events this year we have tweaked the format for Britcon so that you can now play Bolt Action at Britcon as either a 1-day or 2-(and a bit) day event (with separate prizes on each day).

The "2 and a bit days" format of Britcon allows us to offer almost a 1939-45-esque fully extended event in which competitors will be able to play a wide variety of scenarios throughout the weekend, taking full advantage of the flexibility and scalability of the Bolt Action ruleset. 

Both Saturday & Sunday can be entered and played as a stand-alone one day tournament, but players can also enter for the full weekend (including games on Friday evening). All players (both one day and full-weekend entries) will be matched against each other over the course of the event, and all entry fees include the £5 voucher to spend with any of our traders (ie Warlord Games!)

The event(s) will feature 

750 point pick-up games on Friday evening (as many as you can fit in - arrive anytime from 6pm!)
Two 1,000, and one each of 1,250 and 750 point games on Saturday, starting at 8:30am and running through until 7pm 
One each of a 1,000, 1,200 and 750 points game on Sunday starting at 8:30am, and running through until 4:30pm 

Games will (generally) be 2 hours apart from the 1500 point games that will be 2 ½ hours, all games will be scored using the BHGS score sheet.
