Britcon - Venue & Directions

DIRECTIONS
Britcon is held at the Nottingham City Campus conference and event centre, in the very heart of UK's Wargaming Capital, Nottingham. Wherever your starting point, you will find travel to Nottingham is quick and easy.
By Car
Official Weekend and Daily parking for Britcon is at the Q-park car park on Talbot Street, Nottingham NG1 5GG, which is 2 minutes walk from either the venue and about 5 minutes from our onsite accommodation block at the nearby Gill Street Residence.
Tickets giving you discounted parking at Q-Park are available to all attendees for free (you'll be able to pick them up from us or the Uni reception), and give 45% off the standard Q-Park car parking rates. The voucher is be used at the pay stations in the car park before you pay and exit.
The 45% discount applied can be offered across any amount of time in the car park, including very short stays, so can benefit all of our delegates instead of only those attending a whole day event. We are pleased to advise the 8 hour rate will work out cheaper than the old rates.
When you are leaving the car park insert your ticket as normal into any payment machine, and then scan the barcode on the Uni parking voucher. This will then reduce the price you'll need to pay at the machine by 45%. Unfortunately you cannot claim this discounted rate if you have pre-booked car parking through the Q-park website.
Blue Badge holders can park for free in Nottingham for up to 4hrs in Curzon Street, Sneinton Market Square & Nottingham Arena, and for up to 3 hours at the Motorpoint Arena and Nottingham Castle Car Parks. You can also use any on-street parking bay, and also park on single or double yellow lines for up to three hours.
By Tram (& Car, using the Park & Ride service)
Park and Ride stations outside the city centre allow you to park (for free) and catch a tram to Britcon, alighting at the the Nottingham Trent University tram stop, or the marginally closer Royal Centre stop. We recommend that you use one of the following sites and board any tram serving Toton Lane or Clifton South:
If you want to avoid driving into the city entirely you can also use
Make sure you buy a ticket before you board the tram and alight at the Nottingham Trent University stop. Visit the Nottingham Express Transit (NET) website for more information on the city’s Park and Ride services.
