Leicester's First 2-day wargames trade show, held in the very heart of the city

The Britcon Trade show is open to the public from 10am-5pm on Saturday 23rd August and 10-2pm on Sunday 24th August. Admission is FREE if reserved in advance, otherwise there will be a nominal charge of £3 on the door for entry. Under 16s get Free admission either way.
The show takes place in the Venue@DMU, Leicester DeMontfort University's dedicated exhibition space next to the QEII Sports Centre by the Newarke Road Bridge on the banks of the Soar. The full address is 20 Western Blvd, Leicester LE2 7BU.

For food and drink we will have a bar and snack bar open all weekend with snacks, hot and cold drinks. The Wargamers Bar will be open in the Trader Area in the main hall of The Venue each day as well.

Chronopia is a dynamic wargame that allows you to play small hero skirmish battles or massive army battles set in a dark fantasy world. Mammoth Publishing allows traditional miniature sculptors to publish their miniatures via mammoth miniatures - We produce the moulds, cast the figures and handle all the postage, and you recieve 65% of the profit from every single sale of your sculpts, all whilst retaining the rights to your work.
We will produce an initial run of miniautres based on the cost of mould production, and once that run has sold out we can either keep the mould in our inventory and continue to sell your sculpts as cast on demand orders, or you can request the mould for yourself.
We want to encourage traditional miniature sculpting and design, So if you'd like to have your work cast and distributed by us, just get in touch!

Pemberlys Scenics are launching a new tile system developed to give games a real cinematic feel. The USP of these tiles is that the foam and magnet system virtually eliminates the 'gap' issue between tile that is inherent with this type of layout. Trees and larger vegetation are magnetically attached so you can have as many or as few as you want with each battle.
The system will be further supported with a range of texture paints and basing scatter layers (sold in bulk packs specifically aimed at terrain making) in order to create various fields of battle around the world (as well as alien and fantasy worlds).
The trees are magnetic, so can be 'knocked down' due to explosions or run into by a tank for example, making the scenery dynamic as well during game play!
Launched at Salute! 2025! the full extended range will be available at Britcon, ogether with over 70 lines of flocks and materials (always growing in number) for basing, terrain building and dioramas.

The Leicestershire and Rutland branch of SSAFA (Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen and their Families Association) will be bringing a stall to Britcon this year to raise awareness of SSAFA and hopefully to fundraise for the Branch.

Nigel Pell is a well known face on the UK wargames event scene with his incredibly expetnsive range of resin cast scenic items - all the way from houses and castles down to alien bugs and, empty barrels and scenic scatter. He also carries a wide range of flags as well as some 10mm figures.
You can (pretty much) only buy from Nigel at shows, so take advantage of his first visit to Leicester to get some of his legendary terrain !
