​Britcon 2017, WH40K is back

We are happy to confirm that we will again offer 40k in 2017 with our regular TO team of Stephen O'Neill and Martin Jeanes.

Following the release of the new edition of the rules, the intention is to play the rules as per the new rulebook, although some modifications to missions and list restrictions may be applied (if we spot anything unbalanced between now and the event) 

Your entry fee includes a "Spend £10, get £5 off" voucher to use with any of our traders at the show, including Lesleys Bits Box 

Army list submission deadline is 31st July.

For the first time ever The BHGS Challenge moved north to the NEC in Birmingham to run alongside the gaming phenomenon that is UK Games Expo in June 2017.  This put all of our BHGS Challenge players in a hall which at times must have had over 1,000 gamers playing miniatures and card games!

This year's attendance also represented a year-on-year increase in player numbers across those periods and systems which ran this year - so we certainly put on a great showcase for the tabletop gaming side of the hobby in front of the 16,000+ people who came to UKGE too.

After the Challenge we also have the following competitions coming up in the next few months that you may be interested in attending: Britcon in August, the Ancients Pairs and FoW Pairs in September/October, and we are also supporting the Derby Worlds in October 

​This year's BHGS Challenge takes place for the first time alongside UK Games Expo at the NEC this coming weekend, June 3/4.

That means not only our regular tournaments but also 300+ exhibitors from small indies all the way to multi-national companies, hundreds of tournament games, masses of open gaming tables, a huge board game library and "gaming celebrity" guests and speakers !

We will have over 100 players taking part in a range of competitions from Ancients to Epic, so if you are visiting UKGE why not drop in and say 'hi' to us - The BHGS Challenge tables are in Hall 3a next to the main theatre.
