It's Back!!
We are pleased to announce that WH40k will be back on song at Britcon for 2014 and, even better, we are sticking with the Britcon 40k ethos of aiming to do something just a little different to keep it fun for all our players.
So, to keep things fresh and a bit different we are changing the style a bit for 2014.
- There is a choice of playing 5 or 6 games depending on whether you kick off your weekend on Friday evening or Saturday morning. ONLY your FIVE best scores will count towards the tournament results, so everyone has the same chance of placing at the top.
- Armies will be 2100 Pts maximum, and WILL be HIGHLANDER lists apart from troop choices. That means, just like the films, “There Can Only Be ONE!!” of each unit choice from fast attack, elites, heavy support, characters. So you can’t have two land raiders or two Librarians etc etc.
- For troops choices, you MUST have taken one unit from EACH available troop choice before you can duplicate a unit, ask if you’re not clear.
We will not have Forge World units this time round, maybe in future....
Allies can be taken, but this does not bypass the duplication rules above.
It is still ONLY ONE of each thing!!!
For those of you that supported us last year we are back and aiming for much bigger and better things, and we thank you for your continued support.
These are just the preliminary ideas and hope you like them.
