Roll Call this weekend - joining instructions:
By now you should have (hopefully) sent in your list, prepared your figures (and terrain) and be all psyched up for a weekend of wargaming at Roll Call 2014.
Currently we are in the fortunate position of having even numbers in all bar one of our periods, so we should be able to almost totally avoid any players ending up with "byes". If therefore you do find that you can't for some reason make it this weekend, do please let us know. If you have a last minute emergency you can also reach Don on 07789 722055 or Tim on 07710326494
Here are a few reminders before you head off on Saturday morning:
Hot and cold food will also be available at Roll Call this year with breakfast and lunch on offer - there isn't much in the way of local shops or pubs near to the venue, so our catering will be your best option. As normal there will also be tea and coffee available through the weekend
Finally, on Sunday evening the BHGS team will need to take down almost 200 tables before we can leave the premises, so if you are able to hang around a bit and help with rolling up cloths or stacking chairs and tables for even a little while it will be hugely appreciated - and if you happen to be in the area on Friday afternoon/evening and are able to drop in to help with setting up that would be even better - Don (on 07789 722055) would be most grateful for the company!

Here are a few reminders before you head off on Saturday morning:
- The venue is the Holywell Middle School, Red Lion Close, Cranfield, Milton Keynes MK43 OJA
- The online booking system we are using will suggest that you need to print off a ticket and bring it along, but this isn't actually necessary - just turn up, head to your gaming room and meet your opponent.
- There is no need to check in at the front desk this year - we will be assuming everyone is here and then checking for gaps once 9am comes around
- The game start time is 9:00 both days, and the draw has been done in advance for most periods - if this has been done for your period, it will have been published here and published on your ruleset's most popular forums, so we should be ready to go when you arrive.
- We have also published a map which you can download here showing which period/system is in which room. The layout is different to previous years, so please download the map as it will save time and help us avoid any traffic jams inside the building on Saturday morning!
- Please park in either the limited school hard standing car park, or in the field behind the car park where there is plenty of space - the field is nearer to many of the gaming rooms this year than the car park. Most importantly, if you can try to avoid parking on local roads it will help us keep the residents onside for future events at this venue.
