The evil Cardinal has captured the Comtesse de Chablis, favourite of the belovéd Queen of France, and her Spanish ladies-in-waiting. The Cardinal is planning the execution of the Comtesse in the busy market square close to the Bastille on Midsummer's Day. The Musketeers have only an hour to save the Comtesse from the executioner's blade and rescue her loyal entourage.
