Greetings and salutations! We are so excited to invite you to the return of a much-loved Doubles Extravaganza, a MIXED DOUBLES Event! That’s right, you’ll be putting together an awesome doubles force, from either side of the alignment chart if you wish! Let’s see the whackiest and “themiest” combos you can think of for this one-of-a-kind event!
Venue:
This event is being run in alliance with, and on behalf of the amazing Britcon 2025 Wargames Convention & Trade Show! A Massive gathering of nerds and merry wargaming folk playing in a variety of events complimented by a BAR, and a huge swathe of Trade Stalls offering minis, terrain, paint materials and everything hobby related!
Tickets:
The ticket format this year will be paid through the Britcon website as above, AND there are 2 different options available! You can buy a doubles ticket and head to war with a buddy, OR you can buy a singles ticket, and on the day be paired up with a battle buddy for the weekend! This is perfect for singles who are looking to team up, and experienced players who really want to get into the spirit of the weekend and let fate decide the alliance!
Tickets will and will be £100 per duo and £50 per Individual including lunch on both days. Payment must be made to secure your slot and spaces cannot be held without payment.
We have an unlimited capacity, so tell your friends, let’s be the biggest event at Britcon!
Food, drinks and amenities:
Lunch is provided and is included in the proce of yoru ticket for both days. If players have any specific dietary requirements, please contact the Britcon event team direct.
All players also get a £5 token that can be redeemed with any trader at the Britcon Trade Show

The main Army Restrictions are as follows:
Finally, all models must be fully painted and based including any necessary dismounts, there will be no exceptions to this, if a TO sees unpainted models in play you will be asked to remove them from the table as a casualty
Special Rules:
Desperate Times: You may take forces from the opposite alignment if you wish, for example Player A brings Fangorn, and Player B brings Muster of Isengard. Players cannot take the same Army list, nor can they use the same character twice. There will likely be an extensive FAQ as players query their lists, this will be updated live on the facebook event for all to see.

The results of the tournament will be submitted to the organiser of the GBHL, and the Swiss winner will receive 90 points toward their score for the 2025 GBHL season. All other participants will receive an appropriate level of points toward their GBHL score based on their final standing, calculated after the total number of attendees has been determined. This event will also be a scoring event for the GBHL central league.

All games will be played on 4x4 tables.
Sportsmanship, Rules queries and legal publications:
Whilst this is a tournament, the objective is for everyone to have a great time! Players are always expected to behave in a civil and respectful manner to one another and generally treat each other as they would like to be treated. Players are given a single warning when their behaviour toward other players is considered unacceptable. If the behaviour persists, the player may be disqualified. There is zero tolerance for cheating. Players found to be cheating will be immediately disqualified. Players are encouraged to work out simple rules queries themselves. TOs are the sole authority at the event and will be entirely impartial in their adjudication of any rule’s disputes. Remember, if a TO is required to intervene, the TOs ruling is final.
All official publications and rules that have been made available for sale to the public by Submission Deadline are legal.

Tickets will be £100 per duo and £50 per individual, which includes a "Grab bag" lunch on both days, entry to the Britcon Trade Show, a £5 voucher to spend with any of our traders at the Britcon Trade Show, and (of course) a chance to play in a really cool event on some fabulous terrain !
Payment must be made to secure your slot and spaces cannot be held without payment.

- Hobby Materials: (Tape Measure, Dice, Pen and paper for Might, Will and Fate, Glue, Tray, etc)

Army compositions:

- Each Team must submit 2 Army Lists costing no more than 1000 points (500 per player)
- All models must be WYSIWYG.
- If you intend to use any form of proxy or non-Games Workshop model (converted or not) please contact Will at [email protected].

- All army lists should clearly state the general, which can be decided as a Duo for the Tournament as long as they are still the highest Tier available; Theoden isn’t taking orders from Groblog in any Event!
