At Britcon this year To The Strongest! will feature for the second time, in a 2-day multi-round competition.

Each player will receive a tournament pack to clarify play etiquette, eg when flank marches etc are declared, when games can start early or go on late etc
The first-round opponents will be pre-decided on a roughly historically compatible match up, thereafter its modified Swiss tournament rules. If there are any players that you do not wish to play e.g., regular club mates, mortal enemies, relatives etc then please indicate this when lists are submitted. This exemption is only in effect for round one.
All games will be played on a 6’ x 4’ table using 150mm (6”) squares. The organiser would appreciate it if players could bring a cloth or extra terrain, we will try to provide cloths and terrain but at this point numbers are unknown, so your support will be very much appreciated.
All figures must be representative of the units they portray and painted to a minimum standard of three colours and a base of two colours including highlights.
The timetable is as follows

Results slips will be placed on each table, and it is the responsibility of the winning player (the player who took the most coins) to hand this to the Umpire (Sid).
Time will be called 15 minutes before the end of the round when the present player will finish the turn, if that player had taken the first turn, then the player who went second will then complete their turn.
After a long discussion, it has been decided that only cards and not chits will be used during the tournament. Cards will be gathered and shuffled for both players at the end of each players turn. This is following recent best practice at SELWG and the EUROS.
There will be a banquet/feast/meal on the Saturday night, this will be at the wonderful Indian restaurant Mogal-E-Azam, just across the road from the venue. Great food and according to our chums from down South, good value.
