Britcon - Field of Glory: Ancients & Medieval

At Britcon this year (2025) there will be one Field of Glory period, using V3.1 rules

  • Rules : FoG V3.1
  • Scale: 15mm
  • Maximum Army Size: 800AP
  • Theme: Any Book 2 army between 25BC and 1040AD.  Allies from Books 1 & 3 will be permitted if they fall within the same date range.  The allied list must be the same date as the main list.  For the avoidance of doubt, Knights of any type, are not permitted.

    The competition will consist of five games, the timings for these are shown below. Players may start Game 1 earlier if both players agree.  Any player unable to be on site for 6.00 pm can agree a later start of up to but not beyond 7.00 pm with a 3.25 hour playing time.  But hopefully we can all be there on time as otherwise it impacts on the umpires & organisers.


    Game Times and Table Sizes
     Friday                   Game 1:                            6.00pm until 9.15pm.    6’ x 4’ table.

     Saturday              Game 2:                            9.30am to 12.45pm.     5.5’ x 4’ table.

                                    Game 3:                            1.45pm to 5.00 pm       5’ x 4’ table.

    Sunday                   Game 4:                            9.00 am to 12.15 pm     5.5’ x 4’ table.

                                     Game 5:                            1.00 pm to 4.15 pm       6’ x 4’ table.
