DBM @ Britcon
This year sees the return of DBM to Britcon with one 15mm period
DBM rules and info pack:
Version: In line with all other current competitions we will use v3.4, which can be found here:
https://www.jglwargames.com/house-rules/
The full rules with amendments up to v 3.2 can be found here:
http://www.wrg.me.uk/WRG.net/History/DBM%203.2.pdf
Valid lists:
You may submit any list that you or a doubles pair including yourself has not used in the last five years. This will not be policed, we trust that you are honourable gentlemen.
Where the main list includes distinct sub lists (Graeco Bactrian and Gaeco Indian were posited) then the other one is a legitimate choice. There is obviously a degree of subjectivity here, so the general rule is that if the political entity is different, and the troops substantially so, then it’s fine. Again, you are trusted to judge for yourselves.
List checker:
John Graham-Leigh: [email protected] by August 1st please
Draw:
There are eight planned, four Coltishall, three Essex and Dave. I suggest the first two rounds will exclude team-mates playing each other. Round one will be by date, thereafter by score, adjusted as above for round 2 only.
Scoring:
I know it’s a BHGS competition, but I think we are few enough to use simple 10-0. In the event of a tie for any position then the decider will be first head to head result, secondly sum of opponents’ scores.
Your competition-meister is the inestimable Jer Morgan
To book please visit the Britcon Booking Page
The entry fee includes a grab-bag lunch each day, entry to the Britcon Trade Show, and a £5 voucher to spend with any trader at the show.
