The BHGS Teams Event
Lee Valley Athletics Centre, 61 Meridian Way, London N9 0AR

The Bolt Action English Open is a solo entry tournament with an emphasis on fielding thematic armies, organised by Pegasus Warlords. We would like to encourage people to bring units or lists they wouldn’t normally bring to an event. Above all we want everyone to have fun rolling dice within a tournament setting. Awards will include: best sportsman, most thematic/best painted, best general and best club. It will comprise 5 games over 2 days.

Lists will be checked for validity and to ensure no lists are exploitative of unexpected rules combination, given the wide range of lesser known platoons available, by the Pegasus Warlords event team, who will also referee the tournament; Andy T, Jonny C, Mike S and Phil B. It is a tournament and players should be prepared accordingly, but please bring only the most sportsmansly spirit which we have come to appreciate from the community and leave behind any win at all cost approaches.
This is a solo entry tournament, however if affiliated with a club please register which club when purchasing your ticket. This will be used to ensure players do not travel to the tournament and end up playing local club mates. In addition, any club with at least 3 affiliated members in attendance will be entered into the South Coast Club Cup. The winner of the club competition will be based on the average performance of the club's members at the tournament (more information available in the player pack).
