In order to keep the games fairly balanced we are restricting the amount of units a player can field of each type (there can be only 2 of any unit (irregardless of upgrades, squad numbers or weapon loadout, except troop choices, which are restricted to 4 of any type).
Vehicles of the same type, taken either as a Heavy, Fast, Elite, or that can be taken as a dedicated transport choice are restricted to two (inc squadrons) e.g only 2 Landraiders (limited to 2 irregardless of type), Leman Russ (limited to 2 irregardless of type / armour value etc) , Devilfish, Vendetta, Wave Serpent, Rhino, Trukk or Razorback etc of any type. This restriction also applies to MC’s. e.g. either take 2 Carnifexes or Leman Russ as 2 heavy support choices or one squadron of 2.
This restriction of 2 also counts towards anything that can be chosen outside of the standard FOC e.g. the new Tyranid spore pod.
Allies allowed as per the Main rule book matrix. Note: All allies that are classed as Battle Brothers will now be classed as Allies of convenience so check when relying on combinations that they still work.
