15mm Competition Rules : 200 point armies with standard sized 200 point tables of 120cm x 80cm. Players must bring their own terrain pieces

25mm Competition - as above, but with a standard 6'x4' table

15mm Theme:  - Warfare in the lands of the Eastern Sees.

Armies of the lands covered by the Church of the East – what we now call Nestorian Christianity – from 410CE, when the church gained state recognition in the Sassanian Empire, to 840CE, when it was suppressed in China by Emperor Wuzong. 

The following armies are allowed for the period 410CE to 840CE. Allies can only be taken from this list. 

71 - Armenian (no allies)
75 - Early Arab
79 - Classical Indian (Guptas only, no chariots)
81 - Qiang and Di (but no Qin kingdom and no allies)
86 - Late Imperial Roman (no Western army, and none of its allies)
87 - Patrician Roman
107 - Kushan (Indian troops allowed in 410)
108 - Alan 
109 - Sassanid Persian 
110 - Huns 
111 - Hephthalite Huns
112 - Blemmyes and Nobatae
114 - Kingdom of Axum (no Kushite ally, no post-970 troops; only allies allowed are Huns)
116 - Xiongnu
118 - Xianbei
120 - Northern and Southern Dynasties
122 - Three Kingdoms Korean
123 - Japanese
125 - Justinian Byzantine 
126 - Maurikian Byzantine 
127 - Thematic Byzantine 
129 - Armenian Principality 
131 - Arab Conquest

25mm Theme: - Any army from the Ancient & Classical themes (lists 1-81 inclusive), only allies from these themes allowed.  

List Deadline: 27th March

Saturday : Three Games 
Sunday : Two Games

Games will be 2 hours 20 mins plus a 1-10 min(s) variable addition determined by the period umpire. 
   
Saturday     0900-1130, 12-1430, 1500-1730
Sunday       0930-1200, 1300-1530 


GENERAL ENTRY CONDITIONS

Admission to any BHGS tournament is at the sole discretion of the organisers and their decision on all matters is final. If any entrant breaches these rules, commits a criminal offence, causes disruption during the competition (including to public, traders or staff at the venue) or causes or threatens to cause damage to property at the venue the BHGS’s representative on the day will be entitled in his or her absolute discretion to require that player to leave the competition and the venue immediately, without any refund.  In such cases we are likely also to refuse entry to future events
