We are sad to report the passing of Eric Doman earlier this week, following a long struggle with cancer.
Eric was a fantastic player and a huge character on the BHGS competition circuit for many years, often appearing as part of the all-conquering "Warlords" team alongside Nik Sharp and Dave Handley.
In more recent years Eric had returned home to live Wales and had largely stepped back from the wargames scene as he battled illness, but we are sure that there will be a great many people who still remember him (and especially his almost uncanny ability to conjure up a great army out of the least promising and most obscure lists across those 4 DBM books!), and who will be greatly saddened at the passing of both a great competitor, and also undoubtably one of the nicest people on the circuit.
